| Description | Everything seems to be working great as far as temperatures (VGA card, case, CPU, PSU) but no fans are found when I go to Config - Fans. However, when I go to Configure - Speeds there is a single entry 'Speed01', Chip = 'Toshiba', Sensor = 'Pwm1', Bus = ISA, Address = $0. When I select this entry and then select 'Automatically Variated', and on the main 'Readings' page I select 'Automatic Fan Speed', the percentage display will change based on the temperature. For example, when I run Prime95 to get the laptop hot, the fan will go back to 100% if I manually reduce it. I verified that it really alters the fan speed by checking the exhaust port with a tissue, and the air output varies with the displayed percentage. | ||||

| Additional Information | I enabled querying both ISA and SMBus to find sensors. On startup, in the main 'Readings' screen in the diagnostics panel it says 'ADM1032 (ID=$00) found on SMBus at $4C' followed by 'Found TOSHIBA fan driver'. After some other startup messages, I get these 2 lines repeating: SMBus msg: <several numbers> Unsuccessful SELB $01 to $4C SMBus msg: <several numbers> Unsuccessful SELB $00 to $4C Here's the other information I know about the laptop: CPU pentium-m banias rev b1 sig 695 chipset intel i855PM rev b1 southbridge intel 82801db (ICH4-M) I am able to controll the FSB using clockgen with the pll set to ics952618 but that may not be the right pll. | ||||
