| Description | When starting Speedfan CPU usage will go to 100% (one core) for a long time (~2-3mins) This only happens when set to scan the SMBus (need this for the sensors) and stall occurs at addresses $1C00 and $1C80 (sometimes one sometimes both). This problem has been occurring since the early betas for 4.34. I have tried the /NONVIDIAI2C and /NOSMARTSCAN flags to no effect. Delay does not appear very long on initial start (if I delete the config files) but recurs as soon as I make changes. I have included my current config files. Problem also occurs when attempting to generate a report ($48, $49). | ||||

I've seen your report. Thank you. That's the best way to file an issue here. You state that sometimes you get a faster SpeedFan startup. Could you send me a SEND REPORT when that happens? Add, in the notes to the report, the issue id and the fact that this time you had a faster startup. I will compare the two reports and decide what to do. |
