Summary0001071: unable to upgrade
DescriptionI have been running Speedfan 4.29 for some time and decided to upgrade to 4.33. On doing so, I get a DOS pop-up message 'The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:056.f IP:0466 OP:63 61 6e 20 61 Chose close to terminate the application.

The latest beta release appears to work fine though!

Make sure you start the correct program with your SpeedFan icon. Alternatively find the program folder (usually C:\Program Files\SpeedFan) and try to start the program from there.

I am running the file that was downloaded - it is only 16k in size, which doesn't seem right??!

No its not right. SpeedFan.exe is about 2M and the (current stable version of the) software comes with an installer. Download it only from the homepage (http://almico.com/sfdownload.php).

Ah, It downloads correctly if I disable my download manager.
