Summary0001024: Problem with fan speed changes
DescriptionHi,

my fan's are configured so that they run 45, 70 or 100% depending on the temperatures. But sometimes they run with 70% although the temperatures are very low, so it should be 45%. This sometimes happens at Windows startup or after playing games. So when the fans run at 100% during gaming, they only go downn to 70% again in Windows mode. This error doesn't happen every time, only sometimes.

I couldn't find out, yet, whether any specific program or action is responsible for that. This behaviour of Speedfan seems to be random.

Did you configure SpeedFan in order to achieve those three levels? It can be done. Usually, slow reactions depend on the fact that a hard disk temperature was linked to a speed where other, faster changing, temperatures are linked too. In such a case it would need a lot of time before the hard disk cools down enough to go below hysteresis value (one or two degrees before the warning temperature, now I can't remember).
If the three fan speeds are not controlled by SpeedFan, then there is little I can do.
