Summary0000073: Blue screen at start (SI3112r.sys)
DescriptionSince I have installed a S-ATA HDD in my computer, Speefan crashes the system everytime I launched it.
It returns me a blue screen with SI3112r.sys (s-ata driver)

Here is my config :
asus a7n8x-e deluxe
amd 2200+
200 GB S-ATA maxtor

Win xp pro (sp2)
Driver Silicon Image Sil 3112 SATARaid Controller 1.0.0.33
Steps To ReproduceLaunch the program
(need to have a s-ata hdd) (my system hdd is sata)
TagsNo tags attached.

I will close this issue.
I'm investigating about how (if possible) this odd driver behaviour for Silicon Image controllers can be circumvented. In the meantime I do not consider this a SpeedFan's bug, but an oddity of their drivers.
