DescriptionHi there.
Gigabyte uses these two chipsets to monitor and control fan speeds on their recently released motherboards. I'm not sure if SpeedFan supports these new motherboards or AM4 at all, but the fans (CPU plus 3 system fans) on my B350M-D3H board can be fully controlled via BIOS or Gigabyte's System Information Viewer utility.
SpeedFan does not detect my CPU temperature as well, which is very odd.
There is a handful of temperature sensors on the board as well which SpeedFan does not detect.

Hi there,

I have MoBo ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING and the same issue :-(. Speedfan does not support new chipsets (my B350 chipset for example).

Please SpeedFan developer to add support for new chipsets.

This has been reported a few times before. Sadly, Gigabyte does not disclose the white sheet to interact with those controllers. I removed Gigabyte from my mobo buy list. Another question arises : does alfredo still plans to update SpeedFan ?

 Nope ! The problem is not a motheboard brand (Gigabyte for example) but a new chipsets ! SpeedFan does not suppot new chipsets from AMD manufacturer with the sockets AM4 or TR4 (AMD chipsets such as - A350, B350, B450, X370, X470, X399, ... etc.). SpeedFan need update ! But the author of SpeedFan is now inactive :-(.

WOW Hey WHATS GOING ON with Speedfan ??? why the author doesnt Update it ???iv just got my new x299 motherboard and after installing win10 and speedfan it doesnt detect anything and no temps and fanspeed showsup no chipset controllers detection its SO SAD because i always used this program on my X99 system and it didnt have issues there BUT NOW i want my fan control with speedfan :( Mr ALFREDO PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE AND ADD NEW CHIPSET SUPPORT IM WAITING
